I am a Pete Docter stan and also joining the greek salad train this month, so we are in sync! Thanks for the great recs, I definitely need to listen to that podcast episode!

Oh nice! It was a good one, and there were just some interesting Pixar creative process stories, too.

I'm liking the second season of Four Seasons even better than season one! (I did not mean to write a sentence with "seasons" in it so many times but here we are!)

Yes, I think I am liking it better than the first one, too. Maybe it is just the right season for it (just wanted to add to the season word fest).

I was so pleasantly surprised by season 2 of Four Seasons. I liked it so much! I didn't really like season but it's such a good cast I wanted to give it another shot. Glad I did!

Glad you gave it another shot! I liked season 1 as well, but I do think they hit their stride in season 2 a bit more.

Hi Julie, I hope you had a wonderful trip! I love those macadamia nuts! They always seem like such a treat and a delicacy. Thanks for these recommendations!

I did have a good trip and agree on those macadamia nuts! Hope your summer is going well :)

We galloped through Four Seasons. I hope Anne leans into her witchy self in Italy. Maybe starts a commune for women with lots of art and food.

Yes! I would love that for her.

All three of your "some things that made me laugh this month" were also top of my list! Especially the Four Seasons. My god--funny and so real. Did you know it's based on a movie from the 80's? My husband and I watched it a few days ago. The series is better. But the movie is interesting and very 80's.

Oh, nice! We are on the same wavelength. I had heard that it was based on a movie, and isn't Alan Alda in it? I was curious how similar/different it is from the show. I may try to check it out, but I also have a long list of things on my to-watch list, so I'm not sure it is going to happen anytime soon!

Yes, we are! Alan Alda is in it. The movie definitely has its own vibe. Some similar lines. The same music is used, which I loved!
