Super excited to check out Liz's book- it sounds amazing, as does her Substack. Wondering if you've listened to Amy Poehler's new podcast, Good Hang? It's pretty funny at times and generally a feel-good podcast- also kind of interesting to get some of the inside scoop into the history of various comedians and their relationships to each other.
Thanks for sharing the link about image creation. I hate AI generated images: they look terrible and rarely convey anything meaningful.
However, I use Napkin to generate infographic type images that summarise my notes and Beautiful.ai to help arrange slides for presentations. Both remove the time consuming faffing around leaving me more time to focus on the content.
I assume I've already gushed about the The Lonely Island Seth Meyers podcast to you, but if not it's one of my favorite treats each week. Definitely worth a listen if you're a student of SNL. Even if you're not really that serious about the show, it's a great example of creative collaboration and improvisation.
Hi Julie! Thank you so much for including me! I loved the Times piece. I'm going to try to adopt "Do a “mini version” of your favorite vacation activity." I'm enjoying Andromeda's behind-the-scenes look too and I loved her chat with Erin Flanagan! Enjoy your whiteboard-free space!
I can second that recommendation for “Will Not Attend.” It’s really funny.
It sounds great! I’m going to add it to my library hold roulette queue :)
Love Liz’s writing, yay re her new book! 📖 🎉

I have not although I listened to her talking about it on Conan’s podcast and then forgot I should check it out. Appreciate the rec!
Liz will be on Dear Nina later this summer! And so true on how long we spend on the photos. thanks for that resource
Thank you again, Nina! Can't wait to listen!
That’s great to hear! Looking forward to listening :)
Always look forward to your recs! I've been needing some lighter fiction, definitely looking into these two...

Interesting — I have not tried either of those. I think there are some good tools out there for other purposes like you describe.
Yay! Thanks for sharing.

I don’t think you have told me about it! Going to add it to my to-listen list :)
